A TASTE OF CELEBRATION
To us, saffron tastes and smells of celebrations - a key ingredient in many dishes that we make and share on special occasions like Diwali. Every Diwali is celebrated with a huge family gathering - everyone piles into the living room, perched on sofas, chairs, or wherever they can find a space! Then comes an array of dishes, both sweet and savoury, including the iconic biryani - layers of rice, spices, and saffron steeped in milk. In the Peela Gold, we were inspired by those layers of flavour, re-imagining the warm, floral, aromatic notes of saffron into a crisp and refreshing lager to create a unique and delicious beer that you won’t be able to stop drinking!
