Growing up in Malawi, our Mum often sent us out into the garden to pick fresh curry leaves for her cooking. That vivid, zingy citrus scent left lingering on our fingers is exactly the smell and taste experience we have bottled into Gully Green.
If you meet a Malawian, you should ask them what they call a beer… chances are, they will call it a 'Green’ – affectionately named after the iconic green beer bottles available throughout the country. We liked the idea of continuing the tradition, giving a playful nod to our childhood by crafting our own version of a 'Green' now that we are all grown-up.
